........The Municipality of Tagkawayan, is the southernmost town in the Quezon Province. It is a first class municipality bounded by the Municipality of Calauag, Quezon to the north, Labo, Camarines Norte to the east, Del Gallego, Camarines Sur to the south and Ragay Gulf and the Kabibihan River to the west.








..........It has 45 baranggays and 64 sitios and it is divided into 4 zones namely: Metro Zone, Railroad Zone, Highway Zone and Mountain Zone. The center of Tagkawayan is the Metro Zone where you can find Government Offices, schools, public market, church, and other major institutions. Getting to Tagkawayan is so easy, by land through Quirino Highway, by railway through the Philippine National Railway and by sea through Ragay Gulf and Tagkawayan Bay.

........Tagkawayan is blessed with a gift of natural resources. Tagkawayan has rich fertile ground to the east and bounty sea to the west. That is why one of the sources of income in Tagkawayan is fishing and farming.

.......It is also blessed with natural beauty where most of it remains secluded yet it is accessible.

........The official Town Fiesta Of Tagkawayan is Febuary 11 coinciding with with the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes….which is the town’s Patroness…
We also celebrate the Sayawayan Festival in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes…..

.......In Tagkawayan, January 1 is not just a celebration of New Year’s Day, it is also a celebration of the Foundation Day of Tagkawayan…double celebration,double fun….
