…..sitio kitay and sibalon island……

…..Some of my friends who did not make it on our first Sitio Kitay excursion were envious and they wanted Sitio Kitay part 2…..but this time I wanted more….two place in one shot….
Again we prepared our food, rented a boat and head to Sitio Kitay…We arrived there same time and sat under the same small mangrove tree. But this we are not alone in Sitio Kitay, there were other people there…

........After a short stay in Sitio Kitay our boat arrived at 2pm and took us to the other spot Sibalon Island….This is my second time in Sibalon Island, I visited this place 9 years ago when I was in highschool….

..........Sibalon Island is a small rocky island just in front of Sitio Aplaya of Candalapdap….It has an old dilapidated lighthouse built on the island….it is in the middle of Quezon Bay….it took us less than half an hour from Sitio Kitay to Sibalon Island…..it is windy in Sibalon Island when we arrived…Ray-ray and I toured the small rocky island…it has a bonsai version of mangrove trees…and we picked a spot and swim…..After an hour the people from Sitio Kitay begun arriving, they didn’t stay that long but my God they are rude and uneducated. Maybe because most of them are drunk….and then they left…..Once again the island is ours for the time being…..

.......Then after an hour another boat arrives and this time it is totally different from the rude assholes and surprisingly then came the nuns, priests and church people…..Immediately we assisted them as they came off the boat and they gave us blessings in a form of  “ God Bless You ”. We asked questions and have a little chat with the church people and they gladly answered us….and we found out that they too wanted a time off to relax and be with God and nature….We asked them for a photo op and they agreed…...

.........The boat arrived again to pick us up, it is only 4 or 5pm…we bid farewell to Sibalon Island, the priest, nuns and church people. We left the island on calm waters but after a few minutes it change dramatically…..our boat begun experiencing big waves….and the boat started to move in a scary manner…I was in front of the boat and frankly I was scared… Originally we planned to go to Sta. Rita Island in CamSur but because of the waves I told the bankero “ @#!$%#@!&^$ hay naku huwag na nating ipilit to baka kung anu pa mangayari sa atin”, and immediately the boat started heading home……

.........Seeing the waves hit the boat scared the shit out of me….and almost everyone is scared…some our shouting and some are quiet but the feeling is the same….but eventually we fought through the waves and arrive safely…..We were so thankful to God that He didn’t let something bad happen to us…..This one is a memorable excursion and everyone agrees……
