…maguibuay falls…..tk…..

.........TKT’s next stop is the majestic Maguibuay Falls….Our first Maguibuay plan was eventually cancelled due to the rainy weather situation…and we waited….Then after a few days the weather finally got better and this time we have to be early…well in fact some of my friends spent the night at my crib and at exactly 4am we started cooking our meal….chicken curry, macaroni, pancit canton, fried pork chop, fried chicken, tinola and rice….7-8am other TKT members started arriving…

.........We rented a jeep and between 9-10am we headed for Maguibuay Falls…It took us about an hour to reach the baranggay proper of Maguibuay but before we head straight to the falls we gave courtesy to the Baranggay Captain of Maguibuay by informing him of our trip and asking questions about the place…Some of my friends have already been to Maguibuay Falls including myself….It is my third time in Maguibuay Falls the last time I visited this place was 5 years ago….From the baranggay proper it took us almost an hour of trekking through mountains and farms…It is very tiring given that we are carrying a lot of food and water…A long the way two young lads offered to take us there and they helped us with our things…Everyone is tired but excited… We stopped occasionally to rest. As we neared Maguibuay Falls I can almost hear the water from the falls and it got me pumped up….and there it is the beautiful Maguibuay Falls right in front of us…

......Maguibuay Falls  has three different waterfalls in close proximity to one another...Each waterfall is different from the one on the top to the one on the bottom….Maguibuay Falls is also surrounded by trees and other tropical plants which added to its beauty….getting to Maguibuay Falls is easy as well, you can go there by motorcycle,tricycle or any vehicle that has four wheels…and from the baranggay proper a half an hour or an hour walk to get you to Maguibuay Falls itself….if youre not familiar with the place I suggest that you ask someone who knows the place and the way………..

......We arrived in Maguibuay Falls at noon…..When we saw the falls literally nakakawala sya nang pagod…….we picked a spot on the second waterfall and I Immediately took my cam and took photos of the three falls….Some my friends cannot resist the waters of Maguibuay Falls and they just jumped into the cool refreshing water…..then it is lunchtime….Mang Rodel, the jeepney driver is also with us together with the two young lads who escorted us, it is his first time in Maguibuay Falls……After lunch we went our separate ways exploring Maguibuay Falls….eventually we meet under a tall tree where you can find a long bagin that can be used as a swing…like Tarzan did….And like monkeys we used the bagin as a swing dropping on top of the pool like lagoon of Maguibuay Falls…

…On the bottom waterfall my friend Reynor accidentally slipped and slided down the rocky waterfall luckily he was able to cling on the rocks of the waterfall……Bibong and I rushed to helped Reynor……..after that we stayed on the second waterfall where we jumped and jumped and jumped the whole afternoon….

.....The weather is perfect but we don’t want go home in darkness so at 4-5pm we called it a day and walked back to the baranggay proper of Maguibuay…this time we used a different route…..through the talahiban which is taller than all of us…..when we reached the top of a certain mountain the view is just awesome….we can literally see the landscape surrounding us…Ray,Reyn,Kim and I stopped for a while to appreciate the view….after that we continued our journey…..we reached the baranggay proper and thanked the Baranggay Captain….

......We left Maguibuay 5-6pm, Ray,Reyn,Kim and I rode on the top of the jeep while the others stayed inside the jeep and took a nap……for me one of the best moment of our excursion is that moment on top of the jeep…it felt like we were flying…..reaching the town proper on top of jeep rocks, almost everyone is looking at us…..After that we went to my place for a couple of minutes leaving the dishes. I never realised how tired I was until the moment that my body just wanted to lie down….zzzzzzzz…..and I am asleep. And I think I am not the only one to sleep early that night……
