....after a long debate as to where we want to spend quality time with friends...we finally decided that it is best to go to awasan. It is actually the second time weve been to awasan....our first awasan excursion was unfortunately undocumented....no pictures just us the foods, gadgets, some clothes and a few bottles of liquor hmmmm...Awasan is a beach on the other side of Tagkawayan Bay. It is a long stretch of both sandy and rocky coastline with Tagkawayan Bay on one side and a thick foliage on the other, giving the impression of a secluded beach....
......we prepared our things, including foods, clothing and gadgets.then we head on renting a boat that costs 400php.
......arriving somewhere between late afternoon and early evening we picked a spot and settled there....

.....they immediately prepared our things while i took pictures of them and the place....some of my friends and i took a few walk around awasan looking and discovering it ourselves...specially what creatures we can find on the coastline....
........we found a lot of sea creatures such as sea urchin which is "maratangtang" in tagalog, kalantigas which is a small crab, sea cucumber and other kinds of fish and shellfish....and like andrew zimmern some of us ate the sea urchin...and surprisingly it doesnt taste that bad...actually it taste like crab fat "aligui".
....some of my friends and i cannot resist the clean seawater and picked a spot then just jumped in......it was cold and really windy....i find it hard to swim because of the waves....

gasping for air..hehehe |
....then as nightfall comes we thought a bonfire would be great and so we picked some woods along the coastline and then a bonfire was born...

....we were having so much fun...but eventually we need to leave this beautiful place and go home..and so we waited for mamang bankero and around 8-9pm we left awasan and head to civilization....this is the start of what would become tagkawayan trippers-tkt....
